Dr. Jacobs received her B.S. from Emory University, Atlanta, GA and her M.D. from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York, NY. She completed her Internship in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center, New York, NY, followed by her Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at New York-Presbyterian Hospital Columbia-Cornell where she was Chief Resident.
Her professional work includes Assistant Professor, Department of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine, and Medical Director of the Inpatient Unit at New York-Presbyterian Hospital Columbia-Cornell. Dr. Jacobs was awarded a scholarship to attend ISCD 3rd Annual Osteoporosis Academy in 2011, and the Irving Institute Collaborative Research Planning Grant for Brain Muscle Computer Interface in Stroke Population in 2012. In 2013, she was named Physician of the Year by New York Presbyterian Hospital.
She is currently practicing Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and lives in Montville, NJ, with her husband, two children, and dog.
