Lyssa S. Jacobs, M.D.
Dr. Jacobs is an attending physician. She received her B.S. from Emory University and her M.D. from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Afterwards, she completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center. Following that, she was Chief Resident during her Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at New York-Presbyterian Hospital Columbia-Cornell.
Her professional work includes Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine and Medical Director of the Inpatient Unit at New York-Presbyterian Hospital Columbia-Cornell. Dr. Jacobs won a scholarship to attend ISCD 3rd Annual Osteoporosis Academy in 2011, and the Irving Institute Collaborative Research Planning Grant for Brain Muscle Computer Interface in Stroke Population in 2012. In 2013, she was named Physician of the Year by New York Presbyterian Hospital.
Dr. Jacobs lives with her husband, two children, and dog. She enjoys hiking and tennis in her free time.
