Susanna Shepper, M.S., M.D

Dr. Susanna Shepper is passionate about the geriatric population especially educating and preventing falls in the elderly.

She received her B.A. in Biology, Pre-Med and Judaic studies and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Yeshiva University-Stern College for Women and an M.S. in Interdisciplinary Biological & Physical Sciences from Touro College.  Dr. Shepper received her medical degree from Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. She completed three years of general surgery training at Maimonides Medical Center and Morristown Memorial Hospital and then three years of Physiatry training at Montefiore Medical Center. She then completed a one year fellowship in neurorehabilitation at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital. Afterwards she worked in the subacute world and private practice doing no fault and workers compensation cases. Over four years ago she returned to the subacute world and currently works in Montclair and Cedar Grove, NJ.

Dr. Shepper is member of  American Medical Association, American Academy of Physical Medicine and  Rehabilitation and Association of Academic Physiatrists.

She has presented at national conferences such as American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Association of Academic Physiatrists and American Academy of Neurology.

Dr. Shepper grew up in Bronx, NY and lives in NJ with her husband and children. In her spare time she enjoys reading, walking, volunteering at the food pantry, substituting in school, spending time with her family and carpooling.
