Our physicians serve their patients with the expectation that they will get back to a high quality of life and be home with their families. We partner with the facilities to offer the most compassionate care possible. Because they understand that losing autonomy is difficult, our physicians are committed to accompanying their patients on their journey back to independence.
What is Physiatry?
Physiatry is a branch of medicine focused on treating medical conditions impacting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons. Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physicians, also known as physiatrists, are trained to enhance and restore functional ability and quality of life to people impacted by physical impairments. Our doctors treat any disability, focusing on not just one area but the entire body. Together, with a patient’s care team, we develop a comprehensive program to help improve your quality of life.
