Dr. Shereen Makar received her MB BCh and completed a rotating internship at Assiut University in Egypt. Afterwards, she completed her internship in Internal Medicine at New York Methodist Hospital. She completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Makar worked in private practice until 2007. At that point, she left to work as a physician at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Dr. Makar has worked with Rehabilitation Specialists of NJ since 2019.
